The Red Bull KTM Ajo wrapped up the 2019 season in style on Sunday with another victory at the Valencia GP, thanks to a fantastic performance by Brad Binder. The famous Durban to Johannesburg motorcycle race, run on public roads, may have been stopped by the authorities in 1936 but the spirit of this arduous event continues in the form of a commemorative regularity run for classic motorcycles between these two cities. The 2020 DJ Run will mark the 50th anniversary of this regularity trial which was staged for the first time in 1970.

The Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto2 team wrapped up their work at the final round of an intense flyaway triple header with a win at the Malaysian Grand Prix courtesy of Brad Binder, who achieved his second consecutive victory. Following an incident in the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup race at Sepang International Circuit on Saturday, it is with great sadness that we report the passing of Afridza Munandar.
The incident occurred at Turn 10 on Lap 1, with the race Red Flagged immediately thereafter. The 20-year-old first received medical attention by the side of the track before being transferred to Kuala Lumpur Hospital by helicopter.
