FIM JUNIOR MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2018 - TEAM SOUTH AFRICA

Posted on August 24, 2018 at 5:00 AM

South Africa’s Official team consists of Cayle Dormehl and Camden Mc Lellan. The event, that takes place on the 25-26 of August, will bring together riders from 21 different countries who not only race for their flag but also for themselves.

The FIM Junior Motocross World Championship event is recognised as one of the most important on the international motocross calendar, with the 125cc and 85cc categories featuring official world championship status and the 65cc category ranking as a world cup.

Cayle will fly the flag high for RSA in the 125cc class and this is what Cayle had to say: “My build up to the event has been super exiting. This is not something new to me as this is my 5th World Champs I’m competing in. There are some changes as I have been racing a 250cc and now I’m having to jump back onto a 125cc, been riding a 125cc for the last 3 months and have been loving every second of it! I have been working super hard with my on track trainer Wyatt Avis as well as my gym trainer Travis Warick-Oliver.”

A big shout out to my sponsors: Alfie Cox KTM , Rock Powerlines , Shift and TRP Distributors.

Camden will race in the 85cc class with the support of the KTM Kosak Team. After recently being crowned European Champion, Camden is about to take on another big race of his career.

Camden’s views leading up to the race: “My prep for this event has been great and the team around me have put in so much effort. We are as ready for the challenge as ever! It is going to be a great weekend all in all and the plan is to bring home some silverware!”

Huge thanks must go to my mom and dad, Christoph, Darrel and Herby, and all my sponsors from the KTM Kosak Race Team, KTM South Africa, and Red Bull South Africa.
